<p>It&#8217;s not all bad though. One of the few rock bands that I still care about in this day &#038; age is <a href="http://www.thepsychicparamount.com/">the Psychic Paramount</a>. Two of the dudes in that band were also in the excellent <a href="http://noquarter.net/bands/laddio.php">Laddio Bolocko</a>, who had a sort of This Heat vibe, except noisier and more insane. </p>

<p>Recently I stumbled upon <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?yymezgzgzxe">this bootleg of Laddio Bolocko at Emo&#8217;s</a>, a club in Austin, Texas. If that doesn&#8217;t prove that I don&#8217;t love you, dear reader, than all is lost. The meta-data for this file has a date of 2009, which like most things on the internet, is a lie. What is real is that the sax playing on this recording is serious.</p>
