Really feeling this jam. I have always thought that Africa and Europe shared a common sensibility regarding musical scales, whereas in Asian countries other scales are utilized. But the guitar playing on this track is reminiscent of the highlife guitar style, no? No easy narratives to explain this global confluence of styles; just a lot of beautiful machines across the globe working together in unexpected ways.
